Terms of Service
These terms explain the practical rules for using BillLah during beta. They are written for beta readiness and should be reviewed before paid public launch.
Back to landing pageBillLah as a Software Tool
BillLah is a software tool for invoicing, quotations, receipts, payment tracking, reports, customer records, and e-Invoice-related workflows.
BillLah helps users prepare and manage business records. It does not replace the user's own review, judgement, or professional advisers.
User Responsibility for Accuracy
Users are responsible for checking the accuracy of all business, customer, invoice, quotation, receipt, tax, SST, TIN, NRIC, passport, payment, and e-Invoice information before saving, sending, exporting, or submitting it.
Users should review totals, tax treatment, customer details, MyInvois fields, and document status before relying on any record.
No Professional Advice
BillLah does not provide legal, tax, accounting, audit, compliance, or professional advice.
Users should get advice from qualified professionals where their business, tax, accounting, or legal obligations are unclear.
Records and Backups
Users must maintain their own business records and should export or back up important invoices, quotations, receipts, payment records, reports, and e-Invoice information where needed.
BillLah may provide exports or downloads, but users remain responsible for keeping records required for their business.
Beta Product Notice
BillLah is being prepared for beta launch. During beta, the product may contain bugs, incomplete features, downtime, design changes, data model changes, or workflow changes.
Users should avoid relying on beta features as the only copy of important business records.
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity that happens under their account.
Business owners should review employee access and remove access when a person no longer needs it.
Acceptable Use
Users must not use BillLah for illegal activity, abuse, unauthorized access, attempts to disrupt the service, or misuse of the platform.
Users must not upload data they do not have authority to process or submit.
Service Availability
BillLah may be affected by third-party services, including Supabase, hosting providers, email providers, payment gateways when added, and LHDN/MyInvois APIs.
Third-party outages, API changes, rate limits, validation rule changes, and response delays may affect BillLah features.
Practical Limitation of Liability
BillLah is provided as a practical software service. To the extent allowed by law, BillLah is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption, or losses caused by incorrect user-entered information.
If BillLah is responsible for a direct loss, any liability should be limited to a reasonable amount connected to the service actually provided.
Suspension or Termination
BillLah may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, abuse, unlawful activity, or serious breach of these terms.
When billing is implemented, unpaid accounts may also be suspended or terminated according to the billing terms in force at that time.
Changes to These Terms
BillLah may update these terms as the product changes. Users may need to accept updated terms in the future before continuing to use the service.
